What is Church on the Street?
Church on the Street was born out of our Food Ministry. We originally went door to door handing out sacks of groceries and praying with each individual house. This was an incredible event each and the doorstep conversations (always about Jesus) were good but the call of God was to change things up a bit.
One day as we were doing our food distribution on 8th Street, as people were coming for their food and time of prayer, Pastor Chet said, “Hang on. We are going to talk about Jesus” and Church on the Street was born.
This is one of most effective soul winning ministries we have. God continues to move mightily though the relaxed atmosphere and the sharing of the gospel of Christ. We have seen many people give their lives to Jesus and or rededicate to a life of Christianity.

We currently have a few locations throughout town that we go knock on the doors to let folks that we are here. We then spend some time talking about Jesus (street sermon) and do our food distribution. Our goal is to have 12 “Church on the Street” locations throughout the city by the end of 2023.
