Our food ministry originated  in the time of the Covid pandemic.  During a time when people could not really get out to go to the store, our church began delivering sacks / boxes of groceries.   As the ministry began we had 10 boxes to pass out.   We gave some to our congregation but others we would distribute by driving around, knocking on doors, seeing people in their yards.   Many of the neighborhoods in Okmulgee need a  helping hand to get a new and  better start.

Today we distribute about 80 sacks of groceries a week through a variety of channels.  We still go knocking on doors as one way but we also have started “Church on the Street” and “Sack Service”.  

Our hope is that with every bag and every item within this bag that people will know and understand how much God loves us and wants to spend an eternity with us. He loves us  so much that He sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for the sins that you and I have committed in our lives.
